Nope...
I've got two articles in different languages, same name, same category, different content. If I choose one of these in Ajaxregister->Layout->Intro Text Article it always shows that one.
What do you mean with "add association"?
EDIT: association is enabled!

I bought a product that supposedly can translate intro text articles...But it obviously can't..
No purposeful responseI since two weeks.... have to say that your support is really not the best...
